Kinja'd!!!

A 1972 Fiat 130 Coupe survivor. Less than 5,000 were ever made, and they featured Pininfarina styling as well as an engine designed by a former Ferrari engineer. Not something you see for sale every day...

yeah, that weirded me out too.

Also, “Mecahnicaly, it’s perfect too, I have had almost no problems ever, other than new spark plugs and new starter, the car has performed flawlessy for me the past 5 years” kinda sounds like they didn’t really do any maintenance. Like I don’t know those motors well, but it is an early 70s Belt timed motor, there’s no way the replacement interval is longer than 5 years.

Pretty sure this will need a serious overhaul after purchase, but a good PPE would confirm if you know it well/can find a mechanic who does.

Looks just like a Peugeot 604 coupé would have looked like, had Pininfarina done one.

Ooo, t hat is pretty....and very rare! FIAT had a lot more ‘executive’ type cars than people think!

I think my favorite of their fancy ‘large’ cars though, was the 130's predecessor, the 2300 Coupe! Gorgeous things...I love the rear-end styling on them...and the side profile...

Ooh, I like that. The shape of the grille reminds me of my Th underbird a bit :p

They are very pretty! :)

I always thought your gen of Thunderbird was under-rated!

Thanks! Under-rated is right... Nobody believes me when I say I paid less than six grand for it. The beautiful styling is such that it can totally be parked among much more expensive cars and not look out of place, the drivetrain is surprisingly reliable, and these came with lots of fancy features for the time. Not to mention there’s all sorts of fun stuff going on with the lights! I’m glad I bought mine now before collectors discover them and the prices start rising.

THat’s a sad thing for me...I want to import a FIAT 126p (completely different to your Thunderbiard by just a tad :P) but haven’t really been in the position to do so...sadly prices are starting to go up on them. Still not expensive at all if I get one from Poland, but still more than they were a few years ago...

Ooo o, very nice...though $5900 USD is $8200 CAD :(

I can import one to Canada straight from Poland for like $5-6K CAD I believe!

That one is very nice though...one of the odd ones that was a mix of earlier ‘ST’ and later ‘FL’ generation parts! :D
